Welcome! I've developed a class called "Introduction to Scientific Typesetting," which I teach during (most) Intersession terms at Washington & Jefferson College. This class is mostly an introduction to LaTeX, but it also explores some of the aesthetics of scientific writing.
I have taught this class four times now, the most recent of which was in January 2012. On this page I have collected some of the materials I produced during the fourth incarnation of this class on the off-chance that they may be helpful to someone else. I have not done any further editing on these since the class, so I offer them as-is, warts and all!
